Malnutrition Rife In

Industrialized Countries

Unless you and your family take bioavailable nutritional supplements regularly, it’s likely you and they suffer malnutrition. Not famine and starvation. That's type A malnutrition. Shortage of micronutrients like vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes and over 70 others, is malnutrition type B. Surveys show there's a lot of type B malnutrition in the UK.

Even more alarming was the news in November 2003 that around 2 million Britons, including 60% of hospital patients, are suffering malnutrition type A!

AMA Recommends Multivitamins
Growing scientific evidence supports these facts. The weight of nutritional research findings has grown to such an extent that the American Medical Association now recommends all Americans take daily multivitamin-mineral-antioxidant supplements to help prevent diseases like cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis and osteoporosis.

Meanwhile in the UK, doctors aren’t trained in nutrition. And doctors are told what to do by the Chief Medical Oficer to the Government. Who in turn is answerable to the government. And governments dance on the strings of their puppet masters - Big Business!

Business doesn't come much bigger than the pharmaceutical companies who make prescription drugs. Their profits would dip if everyone followed the AMA recommendations. So the lie they prefer you to hear, is that you get all the nourishment you need from your food. Despite recently published research showing our foods contain only a tiny fraction of the nourishment they did 50 years ago.

5 Portions of Fruit & Veg Not Enough
We’re advised to eat at least 5 portions of fresh fruit and vegetables every day. But a national cancer institute in the USA have increased their recommendation from 5 to 9 portions of fresh fruits and veg a day. 5 portions a day just isn't reducing cancer risk as they'd expected. And most folks don't even eat the 5!

There are some nutrients and enzymes in fresh produce that you may not get in vitamin tablets. Especially cheap ones! Even so you still need supplements to make up the shortfall of known vitamins. You just can't get enough protection from food alone without a huge boost in your calorie intake. Then you'd be fighting obesity.

There’s loads of research indicating that this vitamin may prevent cancer, and that prevent heart disease. But vitamins work best as a team. Hence multivitamins.

Like anything else on sale, there's good and bad. A biochemist analysed vitamin-mineral-antioxidant-herbal tablets that had helped many people with heart and circulatory problems. He said there was more nourishment in one tablet than in a bottle of 100 sold by his employers!

So it’s a minefield. One that we at Natural Good Health have found our way around for 20 years. Now we are happy to guide you safely through the minefield with up to date information on what’s good and what isn’t.
